At any moment

At any moment, you can die. A friend of mine was driving to the beach on vacation and the car in front of it had their bike fall off their bike rack and almost caused them to crash.

The one day I leave something valuable (about a $300 tablet) it gets stolen.

Life is brutal. Life doesn’t care about you. Life could care less if you have a great plan or if you’re a deadbeat. It all seems random for the most part.

I carry a coin around that says “Momento Mori.” It means at any moment I could die. It sounds morbid, but it’s true. Life is indifferent to you.
